This project was initiated following fire damage to the original structure. The redesign focused on reimagining the roofline and access points, resulting in the addition of a modern rooftop pavilion. Floor-to-ceiling glazing maximizes natural light and provides uninterrupted 360-degree views of San Francisco. A minimalist material palette combining steel and glass was selected to establish a clear dialogue between the new intervention and the existing architecture, while integrated circulation elements enhance flow between indoor and outdoor living areas.
